Brief History, Big principles.

Our company, Tropical Woods International, is a new company, established in 2015; however, our experience in the hardwood and plywood business covers over 15 years.

The name of the company itself was borrowed from a friends company that passed away and unfortunately, against his will, took the company with him. He was the first person who tough a Cambridge graduated Information and Computer Engineer on how to work with international market back in 2003. Since then, the geek that used to work only with softwares and electronics,  started to work side-by-side with his trading guru and learned what he could in a lapse of almost 4 daily hours. Now, some years after the old man's death, this man, decided to thank his friend and everything he learned honoring the name of the company that should not have died with it's owner.

Our office is located in a city called Curitiba, one of the main Brazilian capitals. The city is know as the main gate to export. Our carefully sourced mills are supervised by our own people. We hire and train our own quality control technicians to ensure that products made by our outsources bear our name and are unmatched in the industry.
